20degC drop in temp in 2 days.
Set off in rain, and soon into a headwind from the north.
Saturday morning traffic was light so not much spray.
Stopped, added more layers.
Cycled on, not enjoying it, and finished about mid day at a welcoming hotel in a small village.
An hour later it was snowing.
